Recency Items can be linked to specific actions or qualifications achieved during a flight. Timesheet Recency Items allow these to be updated automatically from the flight record, eliminating the need for double entry.
- Go to Site Setup > Operations > Training > Recency Setup.
- Click on the Add button on the right side of the page.

In the new window, select the Timesheet Item radio button.

Enter the details of the Timesheet Item:

Name – The name of the Recency Item that will display on the Recency page.

Department – Select the Department the Recency Item applies to.
Note: Timesheet Recency Items only work with Departments marked as "is Pilot" and "is Crewman". -
On-Type Recency – Allows you to record the Aircraft Type the Recency record was conducted on. (Automatically ticked for all Timesheet Items.)

Type Specific – Creates a copy of the Recency Item for each Aircraft Type listed on each user's Endorsements page.

Target Count – Enter the number of times the Recency Item must be completed within the specified period.

Period – Enter the validity period for the Recency Item and select either Days or Months.
Leave blank if it only needs to be conducted once. -
Caution – Enter the number of weeks before expiry that users and Contacts will receive a warning.

Update Parent Item (Cascading) – Automatically updates the Parent Item of this Recency Item when it’s updated.

End of... – Offsets the expiry period to the end of the Month, Quarter, Third, or Year that the expiry date falls within.

Update Item (Non-Cascading) – Select another Recency Item to also be updated with the same record. This will not update its Parent Item.

Default – Choose the default status:

Required – Must be completed.

Optional – Can be completed.

Hidden – Will not show or be required.

Contacts – Select the Contacts responsible for this Recency Item.

Contacts are the personnel who oversee the item and receive notifications when users approach or reach expiry.

Link to field – Select the Timesheet (Crew Details) field that will trigger the Recency update.

Click OK to add
