How to create a new Hazard Area

Hazard areas help you group and manage hazards associated with different categories or areas. 

Only users with Modify All access to Hazard Register Administration

will be able to create new Hazard Areas in the Hazard Register.

To create a new Hazard Area:

1. Go to Menu > Safety > Hazard and Risk Register.
   
   
   
   
   
2. To the right of the page, click on the New Hazard Area button.
   
   
   
   
   
3. In the Create New Hazard Area dialog box, enter a Hazard Area Name, and select the "Parent" area. 
   If unselected, the Hazard Area will be put underneath the main "Hazards".
   
   
   
   
   
4. Click Create.
   The new area will appear in the tree.
   
   
   
   If you cannot find the Hazard Area you just created, try clicking on the little arrows to condense other areas.
