Audit Export Templates used for exporting audits come with a default Air Maestro logo. If you'd like to replace it with your own, you can do so by following a few simple steps in the Audit Setup area.
Note: Logos that appear in other areas of Air Maestro can only be updated by our Support Team. If you'd like help with this, please email us at help@airmaestro.net.
Understanding Audit Export Templates
Every audit in Air Maestro can be exported as a Word document. The layout and styling of that document are controlled by an export template.
You can either:
- Use the default template provided.
- Duplicate the default template and customise it.
- Create your own custom template.
When creating a custom template, you have full control, including the ability to insert your logo wherever you like.
While the default template can’t be edited directly, you can download it, make changes (like replacing the logo), and upload it as a new version to use in future exports.
To change the logo in the Audit Export Template:
- Go to Site Setup > Safety > Audit Setup.
- Open the Export Templates tab.
- In the 1. Download Template section, click Generate Word Template.
A Word document will download to your device.
- Open the Word file and click Enable Editing at the top bar of the document, if it pops up.
-
Right-click on the existing logo and select Change Picture.
- Browse your computer for your new logo image, select it, and click Insert.
The logo will be replaced.
To resize, drag the corners of the image.
To reposition, click and drag the image by one of the borders (try a few different ones, if you are not getting the desired result).
- When you're happy with the layout, go to File > Save As, rename the file, and save it locally.
- Return to Audit Setup > Export Templates in Air Maestro.
- In the 3. Upload Template section, click Select and choose your edited Word file.
- After the file finishes loading, click Upload.
You’ll now have two templates available when exporting audits. To use your custom version with the updated logo, simply select it during the audit export process.
