As an admin or manager, you can grant or restore your staff's access to Air Maestro by generating or resetting their passwords via the Personnel Wizard.
To be able to generate passwords, you will need the following access level:
- Personnel Management > Modify
in addition to:
- Personal Details > View Selection or View All or Modify Selection or Modify All
To generate a new password for a user:
- Locate the user via the Search Bar or in the Personnel module.
- Open the user’s Personnel Wizard tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Username and Password section.
- Tick the Generate new password checkbox.
A random combination of letters and numbers will be generated as the new password.
You can untick and re-tick the box to generate a different password if desired. - (Optional) Tick Send new password notification email if you'd like Air Maestro to send the new credentials directly to the user.
If left unchecked, the password will still be updated, but the user won't be notified. - Click Next Step (Access Levels) to save the changes and send the email (if selected).
The generated password is intended to be temporary, and we recommend that the user change it after the login.
If the user has never logged in to Air Maestro before, the password change will be mandatory and prompted by the system.
