Importing Spidertracks flight data to create Air Maestro Flight Records eliminates several data entry steps, resulting in a quicker and more efficient workflow.
You will only be able to follow this guide if you have enabled the integration in both - Spidertracks and Air Maestro.
See How to use Spidertracks and Air Maestro integration? for more details.
Steps to importing Flight Data from Spidertracks to Air Maestro:
- Go to Operations > Flight Records.
- Expand "Add from Spidertracks" section.
- Use the date picker to filter and view available flight data from Spidertracks.
-
To create:
-
A single record from a single flight
-
-
Click the "Create" button next to the entry.
-
-
-
A single record from multiple flights:
-
-
Check the checkboxes next to the desired flight entries.
-
Click the "Create from selected tracks" button located underneath the table.
The flight data will be added to Leg Details in chronological order, regardless of selection order.
-
-
-
- Review the flight records created.
Handling unmapped fields
If an Aircraft or Personnel was not mapped, the flight will show original data from the Spidertracks system. Unmapped custom fields will not transfer the data to Air Maestro.
To update unmapped fields, click on the pencil icon next to the Flight Record entry and make the changes.
If you have any mandatory fields set up in your Flight Record Setup, the Air Maestro validation will trigger when you try to save the changes, and you will be required to fill them in before proceeding.
