- In the Personnel Mapping section, you will see all the Users that exist in your Spidertracks application.

Custom Field Mapping:
- Go to Site Setup > Spidertracks Integration.
- In the Custom Fields Mapping section, you will see all the custom fields available in your Spidertracks application.
Expand the dropdown list for each custom field to map with corresponding fields that exist on your Air Maestro site.
The fields that will show in the dropdown list will come from the Flight Details or Flight Legs section of your Flight Record Setup, and the available fields will be of similar type as the data being captured via the Spidertracks, for example:
- Air Maestro field with Control Type: Time will only link to time fields available in Spidertracks
- Air Maestro field with Control Type: Numeric will only link to numeric fields available in Spidertracks.
The x icon clears the selection.
- Air Maestro field with Control Type: Time will only link to time fields available in Spidertracks
- After all the custom fields have been chosen, click on the Save button on the right-hand side of the section to save the changes.
FAQs
-
How do I know if my mappings are functioning correctly?
After exporting the flight records, you can review them to ensure that data appears as expected. Any discrepancies can be traced back to mapping settings.
-
Can I create new custom fields in Air Maestro to match those in Spidertracks?
Yes, you can create new custom fields in Air Maestro through the Flight Record Setup and update the mapping at any time.
-
Will changes to custom field mappings affect existing records in Air Maestro?
Changes to custom field mappings will not retroactively affect existing records; they will only apply to new data transferred after the updates.
-
What happens if I do not map a field?
If a custom field field is not mapped while the flight gets imported, the associated data will not be transferred to Air Maestro. This data would need to be added manually.
If an Aircraft or Personnel field is not mapped, the fields will be populated with Spidertracks data, under "Other" category of the respective fields.
