How to use Spidertracks and Air Maestro integration?

The integration lets you import flight data from Spidertracks directly into Air Maestro by providing information straight from the Spider device and importing it into your chosen Flight Record fields.

Once this connection between the two applications has been established and the integration is enabled, an administrator responsible for managing Flight Record information would then need to map the fields between the two systems, ensuring that important flight details are accurately aligned with Air Maestro fields.

Users can then start creating Flight Records by importing the tracked flights. One or more records can be created with minimal user intervention, pre-populating information from Spider units.

A user with administrative access to the same organisation in Air Maestro can then request AM support to turn on the Spidertracks integration on the Air Maestro site.

• Will the integration affect my existing flight records?

No, the integration is designed to create new flight records based on Spidertracks data without altering any existing records in Air Maestro.

• How often does the data from a Spider synchronise with the Flight Records module?

The data from Spidertracks syncs with the Flight Records module in real-time. This means that as soon as flight data is available in Spidertracks, it can be accessed and used to create new records in Air Maestro.

• Will flight records created from Spidertracks data be treated the same as manually entered records?

Yes, flight records created from Spidertracks data will function the same as manually entered records, allowing you to edit and manage them as usual.
